‘The Boss Baby: Family Business’ – Catching up with the Stars

A popular animated Oscar®-nominated blockbuster comedy gets a sequel. And in fine Boss Baby fashion, we get to have more mischief and mayhem!

The Boss Baby 2: Family Business follows the characters of the original film 40 years later where the Templeton brothers—Tim (James Marsden) and his Boss Baby little bro Ted (Alec Baldwin)—have become adults and drifted away from each other. Tim is now a married stay-at-home dad. Ted is a hedge fund CEO. But here comes a new boss baby with a cutting-edge approach and a can-do attitude. She is about to bring them together again… and inspire a new family business.

Tim and his wife, Carol (Eva Longoria), the breadwinner of the family, live in the suburbs with their super-smart 7-year-old daughter Tabitha (Ariana Greenblatt), and adorable new infant Tina (Amy Sedaris, Netflix’s BoJack Horseman). Tabitha is at the top her class at the prestigious Acorn Center for Advanced Childhood. She idolizes her Uncle Ted and wants to become like him. But Tim is still in touch with his overactive youthful imagination. He worries that she’s working too hard and is missing out on a normal childhood. Then, Baby Tina reveals that she’s—ta-da!—a top secret agent for BabyCorp on an important mission. She’s trying to uncover the dark secrets behind Tabitha’s school and its mysterious founder, Dr. Edwin Armstrong (Jeff Goldblum). Her mission will reunite the Templeton brothers in unexpected ways. It will lead them to re-evaluate the meaning of family and discover what truly matters.

Tom McGrath directs the film (previously known for Madagascar and Megamind), and it once again stars Alec Baldwin as the infamous Boss Baby, Amy Sedaris as the new Boss Baby, up and coming young star Ariana Greenblatt (known for In the Heights and Love and Monsters, and one of the busiest young actresses in Hollywood. The Hollywood Reporter named her as a ‘One To Watch’.) and the uber talented James Marsden (Sonic the Hedgehog, Enchanted, Westworld, X-Men franchise) who recently completed filming Disenchanted alongside Idina Menzel and Amy Adams in Ireland.

The Boss Baby: Family Business is now out on digital on demand and will have a Blu-ray release on September 14th.
