Michael Pena and Jesse Williams Love Being Bad in ‘Secret Headquarters’

Looking for a fun new superhero movie that’s perfect for the whole family? Look no further than Secret Headquarters, coming to Paramount Plus.

The action-packed summer family film featuring Owen Wilson as mild mannered dad by day and “The Guard” the rest of the time also stars Walker Scobell (The Adam Project), Jesse Williams (Grey’s Anatomy), Keith L. Williams (Good Boys), Momona Tamada (The Baby-Sitters Club), Michael Peña (NARCOS: Mexico), Abby James Witherspoon (Hot Pursuit) and Kezii Curtis.

Secret Headquarters centers around Charlie (Walker Scobell) and his pals. While hanging out after school, Charlie and his friends discover the headquarters of the world’s most powerful superhero hidden beneath his home. When villains attack, they must team up to defend the headquarters and save the world.

The film is loaded with special FX and fun new gadgets and gizmos that will blow your mind.

While the kids do everything they can to keep the bad guys at bay, they have a blast trying out their new found powers and strengthening friendships.

Michael Pena and Jesse Williams had an absolutely fantastic time getting to play the bad guys in this family friendly film and would do it again in a heartbeat.

Our Bonnie Laufer spoke with Pena and Williams via Zoom to find out more about Secret Headquarters and if they felt the least bit guilty messing with their young co-stars.

Secret Headquarters will be available to stream on Friday, August 12, exclusively on Paramount+ in the U.S. and Canada.
