‘Locke and Key’ – The Cast Discusses Season 2

Fans of the hit series Locke & Key are in for more adventure as Season 2 hits the airwaves!

The Locke family has returned and in Season 2 they have more action, more adventure and more heartbreak coming their way.
According to showrunner Meredith Averill, the first season, was the story of the kids learning that they’re the new Keepers of the Keys, but with season two, the series explores what that responsibility means. What does it mean as they get closer to being 18 years old – the age when you age out of magic – what does that mean?”

Now that we have a sense of who these characters are, we get to go deeper into their lives and the issues they’re dealing with. The older kids are moving closer to their graduation, and while grief is something that you never fully let go of, the kids are going to be able to begin moving on because, at least for now, they know the truth of what happened to him.

Locke & Key’s season one finale ended with a. mind-bending twist which revealed that the evil Dodge was alive ready to renew her hunt for the keys. She will stop at NOTHING to get what she wants and if that involves messing with the beloved Locke family -then so be it.

In addition to series regulars, Connor Jessup, Amelia Jones, Darby Stanchfield, Jackson Robert Scott and Aaron Ashmore, we see the return of Sherri Saum as Ellie Whedon, Griffin Gluck as Gabe, Laysla De Oliveira as Dodge and Hallea Jones as Eden.

By the way – no need to worry about seeing even MORE of the Lockes. Season 3 has already been shot!

Our Bonnie Laufer spoke with Connor, Darby, Hallea, Griffin and show creators Carlton Cuse and Meredith Averill to discuss season 2 NOW streaming on Netflix.
