In the mood for a twisty new thriller? Look no further and check out the new talked about series, All Her Fault!
Based on the best selling novel of the same name by Andrea Mara, All Her Fault will have you guessing until the very end. The series stars Sarah Snook (Succession) as Marissa Irvine. She’s a young mother who arrives to collect her young son Milo from his first play date. But the woman who answers the door isn’t a mother she recognizes.
She doesn’t have Milo and has never heard of him. As every parent’s worst nightmare begins to unfold, new questions lead to deep secrets, revealing cracks in the Irvine’s seemingly perfect world until everything is left shattered.
Soon, it becomes clear that Milo’s abductor is someone close to home. And as Marissa, her friend Jenny (Dakota Fanning) and Marissa’s husband (Jake Lacy) try to unravel the mystery, everything Marissa thought she knew will turn upside down.
Jake Lacy known for plenty of roles as the charming bad boy (The White Lotus) is pitch perfect in All Her Fault. As we get to know his character Peter, we discover all is not perfect in his world.
Dakota Fanning, who has been acting since she was six (I am Sam) was excited to take on the role of Jenny, a mom who is caught up in the storm of her friend’s missing child. She was also excited to work along side Sarah Snook. “She was a huge reason why I wanted to be a part of this experience. I’m such a massive fan of hers, and I’ve only heard the best things from people who have worked with her. And so I just really admired her going into it.”
Bonnie Laufer had the opportunity to catch up with Dakota Fanning about why she wanted to be a part of this series, playing a young mom and her upcoming collaboration with sister Elle and actor Jake Lacy who discussed how he as an actor can justify his character’s bad behavior.
All Her Fault premiered on Showcase in Canada and is currently streaming exclusively on STACKTV. The series stars Sarah Snook, Jake Lacy, Dakota Fanning, Michael Peña, Sophia Lillis, Abby Elliott, Daniel Monks, Jay Ellis, and more.
