Family life can be difficult…
Coming from two countries at odds with each other, Iranian-American Leila (Layla Mohammadi) strives to find balance and embrace her opposing cultures, while boldly challenging the labels society is so quick to project upon her. When her family reunites in New York City for her father’s heart transplant, Leila navigates her relationships from arms length in an effort to keep her “real” life separate from her family life.
Navigating the complexities of family can always be difficult, but also hilarious as we see in The Persian Version. Thanks to our friends at Mongrel Media we have some double passes to advance screenings in Toronto on the 18th and 19th and Vancouver on the 18th to give to you.
Your chance to win simply couldn’t be easier.
