Canada’s National Treasure Jon Montgomery, host of The Amazing Race Canada and celebrated Olympian now steps into the kitchen to feature Canadian products and unique recipes.
A delicious new docu-style cooking series is bringing Canadian kitchens, brands, and backstories to the spotlight. Savour the North, a YouTube series hosted by Olympic gold medalist and The Amazing Race Canada host Jon Montgomery, can now be seen on-line with a mission as bold as its flavours: to celebrate and support the Canadian food industry.
In each episode, Montgomery combines personal charm with patriotic pride, cooking time-honoured family recipes that incorporate iconic Canadian-made products—from Bee Maid Honey to High Liner Foods. Beyond the kitchen, the series takes viewers on a cross-country
journey to meet the farmers, factory workers, families, and founders behind some of Canada’s most beloved food brands.
Not only is Montgomery travelling the world as host of The Amazing Race Canada ( Season 11 kicks off July 8th on CTV ) Jon shows us how Canadians can get wonderful products for their recipes made right here at home!
In a time of social and economic uncertainty and rising tariffs on imported goods, Savour the North offers a timely and tasty reminder of the value of supporting homegrown talent and industry. Produced by Bokeh Studios and created by Justin Harding, known for their cinematic
storytelling on hit shows like MasterChef Canada and Netflix’s Restaurants on the Edge, the series is designed for social-first viewing, with high-impact visuals and viral-worthy recipes that entertain while inspiring national pride.
Featured brands include:

as they are meaningful.
