Daisy Jones & the Six based on the best-selling novel of the same name has gotten the small screen treatment.
The Amazon Original series Daisy Jones & the Six premieres on March 3. The series is based on the New York Times best-selling novel, Daisy Jones & the Six, written by Taylor Jenkins Reid (who also produces). It follows the story of an iconic 1970s band, fronted by two feuding yet charismatic lead singers, Daisy Jones and Billy Dunne.
Drawn together by personal and artistic chemistry, their complicated musical partnership catapulted the band from obscurity to unbelievable fame. And then, after a sold-out show at Chicago’s Soldier Field, they suddenly called it quits. Now, decades later, the band members finally agree to reveal the truth.
The series stars Riley Keough as Daisy, Sam Claflin as Billy Dunne, Camila Morrone as Camila Alvarez Dunne, Will Harrison as Graham Dunne, and Suki Waterhouse as Karen Sirko. The series also stars Josh Whitehouse as Eddie Roundtree, Sebastian Chacon as Warren Rojas. Other stars include Nabiyah Be as Simone Jackson, and Tom Wright as Teddy Price. Lats but not least, there’s a special guest appearance by Timothy Olyphant as Rod Reyes. This story is set to the soundtrack of original music from Daisy Jones & the Six.
Our Bonnie Laufer spoke with Camila Morrone, Will Harrison, Suki Waterhouse, Josh Whitehouse, and Sebastian Chacon to find out more about their journey working on this series. ( You can watch the interviews in the playlist below)
