Action fans rejoice, the Amazon Original series The Terminal List is the perfect choice for your holiday weekend viewing pleasure when the non-stop action packed series premieres on July 1.

The Terminal List is based on the best-selling novel by Jack Carr, (a former Navy Seal). It follows James Reece (Chris Pratt) whose team dies in a catastrophic ambush during his last combat deployment.

The incident also costs the lives of the aircrew sent in to rescue them. Then, as a traumatized James returns home he learns that those closest to him have been murdered. He realizes he’s at the heart of a conspiracy that runs to the highest levels of government.

As a result, James is left with nothing to lose. And so he vows to put the lessons he learned over a decade of combat warfare to good use and to avenge the deaths of those he loved.

Antoine Fuqua (Training Day) directs all the episodes of the series and it features a star studded cast which includes, Taylor Kitsch, Jeanne Tripplehorn and Constance Wu.

Chris Pratt not only stars but takes on the role of Executive Producer, and he’s not the only one exploring new territory for this series. Viewers know Constance Wu best for her work in the comedy genre. That’s thanks to the popular sitcom Fresh off the Boat. She also got a Golden Globe nomination for her performance in Crazy Rich Asians. After her leading role in the acclaimed Hustlers, she was ready to change it up for her role in The Terminal List.  Wu stars opposite Pratt’s vengeful soldier as Katie Buranek. She’s a reporter who forms several sketchy alliances in order to uncover the truth.

All eight episodes of The Terminal List will premiere worldwide on Friday July 1 2022 on Prime Video.
