Canadian Comedians Shine in ‘LOL: Last One Laughing’

Could you be in a room with 10 of the funniest people in Canada and NOT laugh? Well that theory is put to the test in the new Prime Video series, LOL: Last One Laughing!

The highly-anticipated Canadian Amazon Original series LOL: Last One Laughing Canada premieres on February 18 with two new episodes dropping every Friday for three weeks.

Jay Baruchel hosts the much-anticipated Canadian version of the international hit comedy series LOL: Last One Laughing. Here, 10 of Canada’s top comedic talents face-off in a six-hour wacky competition. Their objective is to eliminate others from the house by making each other laugh, while not laughing themselves. The comedian who doesn’t break a smile and outlasts their competitors wins the grand prize of $100,000 for a charity of their choice.

The 10 competitors are Caroline Rhea (Sabrina the Teenage Witch), Debra DiGiovanni (Humour Resources), Dave Foley (The Kids in the Hall), Jon Lajoie (The League), Tom Green (Road Trip, The Tom Green Show), Mae Martin (Feel Good), Colin Mochrie (Whose Line Is It Anyway?), Brandon Ash Mohammed (This Hour Has 22 Minutes), Andrew Phung (Kim’s Convenience), and K. Trevor Wilson (Letterkenny).

These hilarious comedians do whatever they can to make their fellow comics burst into laughter. The show gets pretty outrageous, but as an audience viewer you will be laughing off your couch.

Our Bonnie Laufer could barely keep a straight face when she chatted with three of the funny contestants, Mae Martin, Colin Mochrie and Jon Lajoie.
