Darren Star Gives Us The Scoop On ‘Emily In Paris’

Darren Star creator of some of the most successful TV series in history is back with yet another gem.

Emily in Paris, the upcoming romantic comedy series stars Lily Collins as Emily Cooper, an ambitious twenty-something marketing executive from Chicago. She unexpectedly lands her dream job in Paris when her company acquires a French luxury marketing company. The company tasks her with revamping their social media strategy. Emily’s new life in Paris is full of intoxicating adventures and surprising challenges as she juggles winning over her work colleagues, making friends and navigating new romances.

Lily’s charm and determination will not disappoint viewers, who will watch her navigate this character with ease and expertise. Plus the fashions are trés magnifique – we would expect NOTHING less from a Darren Star creation!

The 10-episode half-hour filmed on location in Paris and throughout France, makes its debut on Friday October 2nd on Netflix.

Star, known for Sex and the City, Younger and Beverly Hills 90210 serves as creator, writer and executive producer.

The show also features Philippine Leroy Beaulieu (Call My Agent!), Lucas Bravo (Smart Ass), Samuel Arnold (Antony & Cleopatra), Camille Razat (The 15:17 to Paris) and Bruno Gouery (Doc Martin). Recurring cast includes Kate Walsh (The Umbrella Academy), William Abadie (Resident Evil: Extinction) and Arnaud Viard (Clara et Moi).
