Frankie Avalon and Annette Funicello were teen idols of a wave of ‘beach party’ movies of the 60’s and here have returned to the big screen in this hip and hilarious 80’s style update of their surf and sand adventures. While Jamaican Ska may have replaced ‘The Twist’ in these intervening years, Frankie and Annette still know how to take the party to the next level, and teach their children a thing or two in the process. Along with these two icons, the likes of Bob Denver, Jerry Mathers, Connie Stevens, Dick Dale, Edd ‘Kookie’ Byrnes bring the fun alongside some newer faces like Stevie Ray Vaughan, Fishbone and Pee-Wee Herman himself.
It’s been 35 years since this blast from the past and with it now on Blu-Ray for the very first time, Back To The Beach proves that the fun knows no age bracket and thanks to our friends at Paramount Pictures Home Entertainment we’ve got some copies on Blu-Ray to give to you and your chance to win simply couldn’t be easier.
