How much do we really know about everyone’s favourite neighbour?
From Academy Award® -winning filmmaker Morgan Neville, Won’t You Be My Neighbor? takes an intimate look at America’s favorite neighbor: Mister Fred Rogers. A portrait of a man whom we all think we know, this emotional and moving film takes us beyond the zip-up cardigans and the land of make-believe, and into the heart of a creative genius who inspired generations of children with compassion and limitless imagination.
It’s rare to get a glimpse into such an iconic pop culture icon and Won’t You Be My Neighbor? is one of those films that will stand the best of time as it looks at this important figure in television history and thanks to our friends at Universal Films Canada we have some double passes to advance screenings in Toronto on June 6th and in Montreal and Vancouver on June 11th before it opens in Toronto on June 8th and in Montreal and Vancouver on June 15th.
