It’s not hard to believe how inspiration can generate from the big screen…
Inventing Tomorrow shows us a planet facing multiple environmental threats with brilliant young minds from around the world that are tirelessly working on innovative solutions to stave off crises in their communities. The brightest of these students have one destination in mind to showcase their work: the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair, the world’s largest high school science competition. This film follows the journey of a handful of teens representing Hawaii, Indonesia and India and we follow their journeys as they work out the intricate mechanics of their presentations in the lead-up to the competition where the goal isn’t just the prize for themselves but the ultimate one that just might benefit all of mankind.
Inventing Tomorrow screens tomorrow night at 9:15PM at the TIFF Bell Lightbox as a part of Hot Docs and we’ve got tickets to give to you. Your chance to win simply couldn’t be easier.
