Even on the best of days, falling in love is one of the hardest things we ever have to deal with and when we are young it seems insurmountable.  Indignation tracks the story of a young man moving from New York to go to college in the Midwest in 1951 and the social struggles that he faces in a world that is filled with all kinds of upheaval, both political and personal.  Thanks to our friends at Elevation Pictures we have double passes for advance screenings in Toronto, Victoria, Vancouver, Edmonton, Calgary, Winnipeg, Ottawa and Halifax on the evening of Aug 3rd before it opens in theatres everywhere on Fri Aug. 5th.

Indignation takes us to 1951, where Marcus Messner (Logan Lerman), a working class Jewish boy from Newark, New Jersey, travels on scholarship to a small, conservative college in Ohio, thus exempting him from being drafted into the Korean War. However once there, Marcus’s growing infatuation with his beautiful classmate Olivia Hutton (Sarah Gadon), and his clashes with the college’s imposing Dean, Hawes Caudwell (Tracy Letts), put his and his family’s best laid plans to the ultimate test.

In the tall grass of the summer blockbusters; Indignation is the kind of human drama that audiences can really sink their teeth into, and your chance to win tickets to this advance screening is easy.

E-mail us at with the subject header ‘Indignation’ along with your full name, city and the answer to the following question.  Co-Star Sarah Gadon has worked with noted Canadian director David Cronenberg on a number of occasions, give us the name of the film where she worked with his son Brandon in the director’s chair.

The contest will run until Monday August 1st at 11:59AM.  Winners will be informed via e-mail after the contest has closed and please remember to arrive to the screening early as seating is not guaranteed.

Indignation opens in theatres across the country on Fri August 5th.
