Disney Pixar returns with its third installment of its Cars franchise, looking to tell a timely story while bringing to a close the journeys of some of its notable characters. We follow at Lightning McQueen as he struggles with old age and a younger crop of finely trained racers taking over his world. However, he is enlisted by a charismatic investor named Sterling, who wants to cement Lightning’s great legacy.
