HEY TORONTO, WIN PASSES TO AN ADVANCE SCREENING OF ‘PHANTOM THREAD’!!!

There’s nothing quite as vicious as the halls of high society…

Directed by Paul Thomas Anderson, we dive head first into the glamour of 1950’s post-war London, renowned dressmaker Reynolds Woodcock (Daniel Day-Lewis) and his sister Cyril (Lesley Manville) are at the center of British fashion, dressing royalty, movie stars, heiresses, socialites, debutants and dames with the distinct style of The House of Woodcock. Women come and go through Woodcock’s life, providing the confirmed bachelor with inspiration and companionship, until he comes across a young, strong-willed woman, Alma (Vicky Krieps), who soon becomes a fixture in his life as his muse and lover. Once controlled and planned, he finds his carefully tailored life disrupted by love.  It’s the portrait of an artist on a journey, and the women who keep his life running.

It’s been talked about in yearend lists and awards consideration and now thanks to our friends at Universal Films Canada we have some double passes to an advance screening of Phantom Thread on Wednesday January 3rd before it opens in Toronto exclusively on January 5th before rolling out in theatres nationwide in the coming weeks.  Your chance to win simply couldn’t be easier.

E-mail us at contests@Intheseats.ca with your full name, ‘Phantom Thread’ and the answer to the following question.  In Toronto, there is currently an independent theatre in town running a retrospective of the works of Paul Thomas Anderson.  Give us the name of the theatre.

The contest is open to all residents of the Greater Toronto Area, one entry per household please and the contest will run until Dec. 31st at 11:59AM.  All winners will be informed via e-mail after the contest has closed.

Phantom Thread opens in Toronto exclusively on Friday January 5th, in Vancouver and Montreal on Jan. 12th, then the rest of Canada on Jan. 19th.
