While they may not be underneath your tree (or equivalent symbol of the holidays) quite yet there’s nothing better that we like to do then give you a bunch of Blu-Ray’s and DVD’s just for being special…and thanks to our friends at Elevation Pictures we have the chance to do exactly that, by picking out 5 of some of the more interesting titles that the year 2016 had to offer.

Hitting stores on Dec. 27th, Snowden is pulled fresh from the headlines and on to the big screen as it tells the tale of one of the more controversial figures of the modern age who exposed the shocking illegal surveillance activities by the National Security Agency that subsequently made him into one of the most wanted men in the world.

The Witch takes us to New England in the 17th Century with a devout Christian family and their five children who live on the edge of an impassible wilderness.  But when the crops begin to fail and their newborn son mysteriously vanishes, the family begins to turn on each other and being engulfed by their own fears and anxieties on the edge of nowhere they find themselves prey to an evil that they never could have imagined.

Anthropoid is based on the extraordinary true story of the operation of the same name.  Two commandos (Cillian Murphy and Jamie Dornan) are sent into the heart of Prague at the peak of the Second World War on a mission that is as secret as it is deadly.  Kill Hitler’s third in command; Reinhard Heydrich, the main architect behind Hitler’s final solution.  With nearly insurmountable Odds, these two men have to lead a group of Czech rebels in an action that could very well change the course of history for ever.

Free State Of Jones features Matthew McConaughey in the untold true story of a defiant Southern farmer Newt Knight who lead an extraordinary armed rebellion against the confederacy during the Civil War despite some incredibly long odds that led to Jones County, Mississippi to secede from confederacy.

Indignation is a coming of age story where passions ignite and cultures clash in a story from bestselling author Philip Roth.  Marcus (Logan Lerman) is a brilliant young man who arrives at a small community college in the 1950’s experiencing a fair deal of culture shock between New Jersey and the upper crust of higher education that aren’t necessarily in love with the fact that this young man is Jewish.  Infatuated with his beautiful classmate Olivia (Sarah Gadon) they launch into a torrid love affair with consequences that he could have never imagined as his family’s best laid plans and his own personal beliefs are put to the ultimate test.

It’s simply a great collection of movies and one worth to be given out on this special day, and believe it or not your chance to win simply couldn’t be easier.
